This 60 square-meters apartment in Amsterdam, is completely renovated. In it’s new layout there are two big freestanding cabinets hiding some functions of the house. One cabinet function as a general storage, the opposite one houses kitchen appliances and wardrobes. The kitchen is placed in the former corridor. The bathroom, the only hided space is placed at back of the house. From the open living area you look alongside the volumes towards the bedroom and to the roof terrace. The integrated folding doors separate the living from the bedroom if necessary.
The simplicity of the design and choice of materials give this apartment lots of space within the limited area.
