About Us

VEVS Interior Design is a design studio based in Amsterdam and founded by Roel van Eijk and Rob van Sprang. We develop interior concepts for commercial, cultural and residential environments. Our commercial work includes retail environments, restaurants and offices. We work with a team of inspired and talented professionals. This cross-disciplinary team consists of interior architects, product, communication and graphic designers.

Roel van Eijk (1976)
Roel van Eijk has worked as interior architect at OPERA Amsterdam since 1998 and was part of the management team. His portfolio consists of retail and exhibition projects both national and international. He worked for clients such as HEMA, Mexx, Setpoint, De Rode Winkel, Museum Volkenkunde Leiden, De Nieuwe Kerk Amsterdam, Victoria & Albert Museum London, British Library London, Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. He has been part of the graduation committee at the Academy St. Joost in Breda and is a jury member for the Portfolio Review at the Association of Dutch Designers (BNO). He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts St. Joost at the department of Architecture and Interior Design in Breda.

Rob van Sprang (1972)
Rob van Sprang interior architect realised a number of private interior projects and worked as freelance designer for various design studio’s. From 2003 he worked at OPERA Amsterdam as interior architect and became managing designer. He was particularly responsible for interior and retail projects, which include Tempo Team, Dudok Wonen, “Het paviljoen” Museum Volkenkunde, Mexx, De Rode Winkel and the Emma Children’s Hospital AMC. He is now a guest teacher at the Design Academy Eindhoven. He graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam at the department of Architecture and Interior Design.
